Lang Furniture Practices Giving Back
At Lang Furniture, we believe in giving back to our community, and making it easier for our employees to get involved too. Following are some of the organizations and causes we support:
Opportunity Development Center
For more than 20 years, Lang Furniture has supported our local Opportunity Development Center by hiring its trainees and actively supporting fundraising events in our community, The Opportunity Development Center serves people with disabilities by providing skills, training, employment services, and assistance in becoming more active in their communities. One of our original ODC hires has been part of our Lang family, working in our furniture plant, since 1998.
Adopt a Family
During the Holidays, our Lang Furniture plant adopts a local family in need, providing toys, clothes, food and a holiday spirit boost! We like to think of our employees as part of our own extended family, so it is especially gratifying to see them joining together to help others.
Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House is a “home-away-from-home” for families, enabling them to stay near their hospitalized child at little or no cost. Many families travel far from home and spend several weeks or months to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children – a long time to be away. For children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having mom or dad close by for love and support. The Ronald McDonald House is especially important in our town of Marshfield, Wisconsin because families come here from all over the state seeking medical services. In the next few months, Lang Furniture will be manufacturing and donating all new furniture and decor for the ten guest rooms at The Ronald McDonald House in Marshfield. We are so excited about this project!
Lang Furniture manufactures quality bedroom furniture for the hospitality industry, home and senior living. Made in the United States in the heart of Wisconsin.
